Here are some tips for caring for your jewelry:

• Store safely. Keep jewelry in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and humidity. You can store it in an airtight container to protect it. 
• Avoid chemicals. Keep jewelry away from harsh cleansers, cosmetics, fragrances, and chlorine. 
• Remove before bathing. Take off jewelry before showering, cleaning, or bathing. Soap and cleaning products can damage jewelry
• Avoid contact with lotion or perfume. The chemicals in these products can interact with the metals in your jewelry.
• Polish sparingly. Use a polishing cloth to buff away tarnish, but be gentle. Over-polishing can corrode the layer of electroplated gold. 
• Soak for tarnish. If your jewelry is heavily tarnished, you can soak it in clean water with a little bit of mild dish soap or cleanser. Then, carefully pat it dry. 
• Allow to dry. Make sure jewelry is completely dry before putting it away. Trapped moisture can cause skin irritation.
